The blogosphere is FULL of amazing blogs. They entertain, inspire and fill our brains with useful (and not-so-useful) knowledge. The world is certainly a better place for blogging. I know my own personal world is better off.
Thanks to blogging I have met so many like-minded people, developed new skills, forged out a new career and followed more creative pursuits. I feel like blogging has allowed me to become the person I really am. It gives me the space and motivation to try new things and push myself further.
I know it sounds like I’m getting all woo woo now. And maybe I am.
I think blogging is rad.
And it’s thanks to the huge community of rad bloggers that I am extremely honoured to be part of.
So in honour of today’s #BEDM topic – Share the blog love – here are 11 awesome blogs you should read right now!
Probably the blog I always end up returning to when I need something inspiring to read. I’ve followed Elizabeth’s blog for 5 years, back from when I started this blog, and I whilst her style and topics evolved I relate to her spirit and panache.
I worship at the beauty altar of Caroline Hirons. She is the Queen of skincare and taught thousands of us previously lazy and clueless women how to take care of our faces. Her blog is gospel. Yep.
She’s also funny as ***k and is on my list of people-I-really-hope-I-get-to-have-coffee-with-one-day.
A beautiful style blog that somehow manages to express both aspiration and accessibility at once. Rebecca’s style is eclectic and interesting, it’s totally my cup of tea.
Emily is one of my blogger BFF’s and for good reason too. She is funny, kind and stylish and she knows her colour. Oh yes. I don’t change my hair colour without consulting with her first.
I have a bit of a fetish for beautiful food photography (it’s become somewhat an obsession on my Pinterest) and this gorgeous blog is chock full of stunning images of amazing recipes. Be prepared to get hungry.
Quite possibly the best style blogger in the UK, Amber is everything you could want – she’s funny, smart, inspiring and with the best hair in the blogosphere. This is how pro blogging is done well, she is the consummate professional.
How do I sum this up? Rosie is the kind of woman we all want to be best friends with. She’s real, genuine, creative, interesting and has loads of interests. I guess I resonate with her many interests and her genuine writing style.
I discovered Vicky’s blog when I started to my own travel blog last year and was immediately addicted to reading her weekly musings and advice. For the past 5 months Vicky has been out in East Asia and I am inspired by her ability to blog consistently with detail whilst being on the road.
I remember finding Rosie blog after she commented on one of my posts a few years ago, I clicked through, as I often do, and found a blog that felt like home. Does that make sense? I guess, I find Rosie’s blog quite similar to mine in style, we like to share a range of lifestyle topics and her photography is amazing.
I remember becoming online buddies with Katy back when we were early users of WIWT.com. Her blog is beautiful – think clean, white, romantic style – and she writes with wit and intention. And if you ever need a cat pic fix you can be sure of plenty of feline loveliness.
Monica’s blog is chock full of travel inspiration, advice and awesomeness. Probably one of the best travel blogs out there. I feel a real affinity for her writing style and after hearing Monica’s talk at Blogstock last year I was incredibly inspired by her driven professionalism. She is another great role model for pro bloggers out there.
Phew! That’s quite an awesome list right there.
