Mother's Day Gift Ideas
  1. Mari Tote – Accessorize – £39
  2. Burt’s Bees Gift Set  - Amazon- £9.20
  3. Mother’s Day Card - Not on the High Street – £3.25
  4. Slice of Cake Soap - The Yorkshire Soap Company – £5.50
  5. Navy Jacket - Ebay – £32.50 (down from £65)

Mother’s Day is coming up (Sunday 10th March) and as Mama Rosalilium is pretty rad I was hoping to treat her to something lovely to say thank you. I have been have a browse of the tinterweb and have narrowed down a few options which I think she might like and they are all under 40 quid. Hoorah!

She’s in desperate need of a pretty handbag. At the moment she is carrying around a ‘Mum’ bag which is actually more of a rucksack. Practical but not so pretty. These Mari Totes from Accessorize are rad. They come in a gazillion different colours and they looks so chic whilst being able to hold all the necessary ‘Mum’ bits.

She also desperately needs a proper coat. She has been freezing her bum off this winter in a piddily little summer jacket so she needs a practical coat for those family outings and school runs. This navy windproof jacket with a hood is half price on Ebay at the moment – bargain and useful.

Of course, some pampering is required on Mother’s Day so a pretty slice of soap cake from The Yorkshire Soap Company or the Burt’s Bees gift set from Amazon I am sure would be gratefully received.

And finally, no occasion is complete without a greetings card. I found some awesome cards for Valentines Day on Not on the High Street so I am not surprised to find this year’s favourite there too. As one of four children (still find that weird to say) I quite like this cheeky card. It’s true, of course. I’m totally the favourite.

This is more of a fantasy wishlist really. I don’t actually have any spare funds at the moment so I will probably end up baking her a cake or something. I hope she doesn’t mind too much. But, maybe next year I can get her something she will love?

What will you be giving to your Mum for Mother’s Day?

Or, if you’re a Mum what would you like to receive on Mother’s Day?

I would like some homemade cards from my boys, and spotted some lovely trees in Tesco – those topiaried bay/lavender/rosemary bushes with a round head and bare trunk. They’re about £15. Or failing that my ‘Mothering Sundae’ recipe on the blog is a good one!

My mum wants a swimming costume for mothers day for her new fitness craze. How boring is that? I’m definately going to buy her the Burts Bees set as well, I love their products!

I LOVE the tote! Only problem is I’d probably be borrowing it from her so much that she’s never have an opportunity to use it. I can attest to the Burt’s Bees products. They’re fabulous and use the lip balm daily.

This year I’m doing something different for Mum. I’ve decided to do up a basket for her… quality cotton bed sheets, chocolate, tea, biscuits, and a gift certificate to the bookstore. That way, she can spend the day in bed reading in bed. :)

I think my mother would love the Mari Tote accessories. I think I will get one of those for my Mother this Mother’s Day.

Thanks,
Katherine
